Igea stops in Nossa Senhora da Glória (SE): on 13 and 14 May, one of the dairy capitals, for the seventh edition of the Seminário de Negócios.

We will be actively participating with our Sales Director Enrico Biraschi, who will give a technical presentation on bioprotection in dairy production: a key theme for those who, like us, develop advanced biotechnological solutions for the dairy industry, and one that is already attracting particular interest in the country.
During the talk, Biraschi will present our innovative approach to tackling contamination that often affects dairy production, introducing the SHIELD® range. Developed by Igea in close collaboration with the R&D teams of Mediterranea Biotecnologie and Scienzanova, it is a line of protective cultures that improves the shelf-life and microbial safety of dairy products, avoiding the use of chemical additives and meeting the clean label demands of the market.
SHIELD® offers three different formulations, each designed to ensure maximum effectiveness based on different pH levels in cheese-making. Our solutions are particularly effective against yeasts, moulds and Gram-negative bacteria.
